Engineering Design Note: Flat Top Piles in PileVclr
Using PileVclr for creating flat top piles is easily done by entering multiple linear piles and cutting off the tops as shown here where the top limit is set at 96.3.


A series of linear piles with tops at 100 is entered like this:


The tops are high enough above the upper limit to be completely cut off.

Which results in a calculation like this:

That is nice but how do trucks get there?

They drive from a bench on the left side created by a sloping wall like this:

The top, obscured above by the sloping wall, is still the same height as previous pile as shown in the side view below.

Yes, you could add a sloping bottom if that be the case
