mConveyor Design Notes: Entry Details

Startup mConveyor and enter the belt conveyor size data, then calculate the capacity.
Click the Power Form button.

If you expand the power data tree view, there seems to be an overwhelming amount of detail (see expanded list), but if you click the Input button 30 entry values are displayed to show the previous settings or those from the loaded file. Most of these will be already set to what you want.

Some input values override calculated values. I had a call from a customer with a question about c159 (Take-up for min Cwt which is a calculation noted by the c in front of the number). This value is the total force required to provide necessary operating belt tensions.

At e132, Preferred counter weight, you can enter a greater force for whatever reason you may have. If you check the calculations of others it will be necessary to match their counterweight entry here to get equivalent tensions.

To display an explanation of any input or calculated value, select it in the tree and click the Help button. See below the resulting help information for c159.
