| mConveyor - Adding Belt Tension mConveyor automatically inputs the tension required for properly running the conveyor at design conditions and the results are good for a quick estimate. However, when designing a conveyor for construction it is necessary to reconsider all the drag inputs and their variability. The primary unknown is usually the drag caused by feeding the belt, especially from static piles where the belt itself pulls the material down. This variable load may not seriously effect power, but may require a boost in the counterweight supplied tension. You can do this at e132 Preferred Counterweight. Jack Gorman |
